You’re so lucky…

It is easy to drift into a false sense of reality when we believe in luck. Luck is merely the result of a series of events, choices, or actions that landed you in the right place at the right time. Is there really such a thing as luck though? Are there lucky people or are there people that make themselves lucky by the actions they take? I believe in the latter. Sometimes it’s fun to say “that person is so lucky” but the reality is everything has a cause and effect. Just like every action creates a result. Whether good or bad there’s a result. If you continuously put yourself in a good position to succeed then where does luck fit in? It doesn’t. The same goes for bad luck. Unless there is some universal conspiracy against you, your results most likely reflect the actions and choices you’ve taken along the way.

The best part about luck is that no matter what happens, you can create “good luck” if you are willing to put in the time. Hard work, persistence, and a good attitude will bring you lots of “good luck”. You have always had the ability to create it, but it is sometimes easier to dissolve one’s responsibility and blame misfortunes on “bad luck” when in fact luck had little to do with the outcome.

Don’t wait for the universe to randomly select you. The odd’s do not favor you that way. Trust yourself, have faith, and constantly move forward through hard work. That’s a sure way to start creating “good luck”.

Make it a great Wednesday.
