“DREAM BIG, worry small”…

I’m borrowing the title of today’s email from something one of my mentors wrote on his twitter account recently. Tony Robbins said that his good friend Pat Riley wrote this as the tagline on his emails. Let’s analyze what this simple phrase can mean to you.

What exactly is dreaming big? In order to dream big you have to remove the doubts, fears, what ifs, etc. Instead focusing in on the finished product rather than how you’ll get there. This is how successful people have thought and realized dreams for a very long time now. Think about Walt Disney and his famous mouse. Here was a man that came up with a cartoon character that has captured the imagination of millions of people (especially children) accross the world. Where did it start? In his thoughts, dreams, note pad, etc. He had a vision of what he wanted to accomplish and he put that into action. He had a vision of a theme park that would become the standard for all theme parks and he turned that vision into a reality.

Worrying wasn’t apart of his plans. Worrying doesn’t put plans together. It breaks them apart. Eliminate the worrying for now. It has little/no benefit. Dream as big as you can and work as hard as you can to make it work. If you refuse to give up, you will eventually succeed. Count on it.
